Arizona: Part 1

Chandler, AZ

We made it to out next stop at about 2pm where we got coffee at a new local coffee shop called "coffee talk." It wasn't the greatest but hey coffee is coffee.

I was so excited to see my friend Tiffany. I haven't seen her in almost 9 years so you can imagine my excitement when she opened the door and I saw her again for he first time. Biggest. hug. ever.

We chatted awhile and caught up with each other then Tiff had to run an errand so we each took some time to enjoy a good shower. It felt so good to be clean again and put makeup on.

Tiffany took us out to eat at a restaurant called joes farm grill which was featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." It was such a cool little spot!

Of course we ordered all the best items on the menu. Fontina burger, sweet potato fries, fried green beans, fried zucchini, BBQ bacon Gouda burger, baked potato fries, and the most famous hot dog in Arizona---The Sonoran dog. All for just the three of us.

Needless to say we were in pain from being so full. It was so worth it! The food was seriously delicious. I would drive to Joe's from California again anytime.  We said our goodbyes over coffee and homemade breakfast in the morning and Tiff sent us off with some goodies for our journey. I tell you the kindness in everyone who we've stayed with and supported us is overwhelming. We are so blessed and so grateful! We will miss you immensely Tiffany!

Sedona, AZ

Our next stop on our way to the Grand Canyon was the beautiful Sedona. Such a unique little mountain town filled with tons of local art shops and eateries.

We stopped for lunch at a highly rated cafe called Red Rock. We shared a sandwich and salad which were both delicious!

After lunch we headed to The Chapel of the Holy Spirt to experience some peace and gorgeous views. It's a very popular tourist destination so we recommend going early and not staying too long but it's well worth the drive!  The beauty was indescribable. We even looked up the cost of living in Sedona because it was that unique!
