Utah
Zion National Park
Our next stop on our journey was to explore Utah and all the amazing National Parks and natural beauty it has to offer. Zion was first on our list! We arrived around 5:30pm on a Friday night and spent a few hours exploring the town of Springdale.
Chris and I ate dinner at a spot called "Amigos" on the main strip in Springdale and we had some of the freshest Mexican food outside of Mexico I've ever had. I would definitely recommend stopping there!
We found a place to camp about 10 mins outside the park which ended up being perfect for us. There are tons of spots to camp out in the middle of nature that no one have no idea about unless they really looked into it. Just look up BLM lands in the area you are hoping to stay and you will find plenty of spots.
Exploring the park, we pulled off to check out an area but found something totally unexpected, BIG HORN RAMS! We counted about 8 in total and were amazed by their ability to climb strait up the rock face.
Bryce Canyon National Park
We mostly drove through Bryce in order to make time for all the other parks we were going to see but we did pull off and do a quick trail to get some good shots before heading out!
Moab
Moab was truly special. A little something called Easter Jeep Safari was going on (HUGE HUGE EVENT) and being in the Mecca of off roading I couldn't NOT take our home away from home out for a little wheeling. We didn't want to do any unnecessary stress on the rig so we chose to take the Gemini Bridges trail (sorta easy). It being Jeep Safari week I was dreading the congestion of the trail but we totally lucked out and had the best time.
Arches National Park
Arches. OH arches. So impressive and unique to all of Utah. We were able to hike right up to the "Windows," get inside and really feel how old and impressive the land is. With the ancient dunes in the far background, cool flowing breeze passing through the smooth red rock we embraced each other, watched the sun climb high and felt closer than ever.
