California: San Diego

We left LA around noon and embarked on what seemed to be the longest journey of our lives. Who knew that there would be bumper to bumper traffic on a Saturday to make a 2 hour drive into 5 hours?  We made it just in time for dinner with our cousin Michael and his wife Kirstin and their friends. We made tacos and drank cider and beer while watching the UFC fights and playing "the t-shirt game" (which is a really lame version of apples to apples)

The next day I got up and did a workout, we went to the Navy medical base for Kirstin because she had an appointment. Then we headed out to the giants vs padres game where we enjoyed tacos from luchalibre, beer, and soft serve ice cream. And of course the giants won which was epic :)

On the way home we stopped and got more delicious food from a local taco joint where I got a California burrito which are incredible.

The rest of the night we nursed our food babies and relaxed watching tv until we said our goodbyes and wen to bed. So thankful to Michael and Kirstin for hosting us and for surprising us with tickets to the game! We had a great time with you all :)
