After waking up late in the Walmart parking lot we headed straight to downtown Madison to Fromagination: a local cheese lovers paradise.

A really nice lady helped us try some different kinds of expensive funky cheese. A little bit of what we liked and a little bit of what she recommended. She was very knowledgable I wish I had gotten her name! We did take home a few small blocks of local cheese that will be thoroughly enjoyed---with some Italian wine no less---celebrating our move into our new home!

Speaking of our new home, I know we mentioned Colorado as being the "spot." That doesn't mean that it will be the spot forever. We could totally see ourselves living in Wisconsin. Just by the people and the community alone. Having a little dairy farmette. Adorable.

Since everyone told us that Wisconsin's known for having amazing cheese curds, we had to seek them out at the farmer's market that was happening right where we were.

One thing that was unique about the farmer's market we noticed was that everyone seemed to be following each other in the same direction. No one was going against the crowd to go the other way around the market. It was quite interesting.

We tried almost every sample of the fresh curds they had--naturally :) I really liked them--Chris not so much. I'm sure the fried ones are just as amazing if not more. Isn't everything fried amazing?

After our adventurous cheese exploration, we got back on the road and headed to Chicago. More shenanigans coming soon I assure you :)
