New Hampshire: Portsmouth

Not only did the 24hr truck stop have free wifi and a Burger King, it had a Starbucks too! *insert eye rolls* We headed to Portsmouth NH as our first stop back down towards Boston. We were told it was a "cute little town to check out."

It was a cute little town! Chris and I parked our car and were walking to find the breakfast place we were heading to when we saw this:

The building had literally burned down overnight it seemed--so sad!

We were trying to find this shop that was supposed to have cider donuts. We were told they were an absolute MUST if we were visiting NH but alas we didn't find them.

We did find this cute little breakfast shop where we got homemade scones instead. They were delicious and paired perfectly with our Starbucks!

Portsmouth was a place I could tell would be nice to spend a Sunday afternoon moseying around in and out of boutiques and quaint lunch spots. We will definitely be back to visit again. Next stop Boston!
