A couple of tolls and a billion dollars in underground city parking later we made it. First item on our agenda: Clam Chowder.

Luke's was highly rated on Yelp for having legit CHOWDAA so we pulled the trigger. They didn't disappoint!

Next on our list was to follow the Freedom Trail around the city to dig deep into Boston's history. In order to get to the trail we had to walk 7 or 8 blocks.

When we finally made it there we came across the famous Union Oyster House. We HAD to go shoot some Oysters to see if they were better than Maine. Chris has been trying them different places since we visited Seattle a few years ago.

The oyster's were definitely good, but Chris said Seattle did them better!

Followed the freedom trail for 20 minutes or so looking at all the history and architecture. We walked past so many people with the same pastry boxes from Mike's Pastry and overheard them talking about how amazing it was--we had to see for ourselves. Found it. Went in and it was packed!

Chris got Boston cream pie (of course) and I got a honey almond cannoli with chocolate chips recommended by the woman who helped us. Both were really tasty!

We did a lot of walking and felt like we got a good taste of Boston so we headed out back on the road. Chris made sure that we at least drove by the Cheers bar on the way out because it was too far to walk to from where we were.

Word to the wise: If you are planning on driving on the east coast in and out of many cities and states, make sure you have a bunch of money for parking and tolls. I'm not kidding. It's madness there! Next Stop, Connecticut!
