Orlando: Florida

After waking up in Jacksonville, we drove 2 more hours to Orlando. Checked in to our hotel and went out for burritos. I got the "Chicago" burrito and Chris got the "California."

After we ate we went back to the hotel to rest and get cleaned up so we could go explore Downtown Disney. It was just as awesome if not more so than the one in California. We enjoyed live music, walked around until we were hungry again. We stopped for pretzels and beers at the "Polite Pig."

We walked around more to check out the ginormous LEGO statues and amazing stores before we were hungry enough for an actual dinner at the House of Blues.

And of course dessert later was at the famous Ghirardelli where we split a salted caramel sundae before hearing back to the hotel.

We woke up early to head to Universal.

Determined to make our one day as amazing and awesome as possible--we decided to hit both parks. Definitely wanted to make sure and enjoy all things Harry Potter.

We enjoyed lots and lots of Butter beer. In all forms. It's as good as they say.

There were wands you could purchase to walk around the town casting spells which was pretty awesome. Most expensive non-ride attraction at only $45 per wand to participate in an otherwise free and imaginary activity.

We had lunch at the "Leaky Caldron" because you just have to to get the full experience. It was delicious, speedy service perfect for kids and families.

Chris had the Fish & Chips and I had the chicken sandwich. Both were delicious!

After lunch, we head on over to the Hogwarts Express to get to the other park.

We absolutely loved the Harry Potter part of both parks and will never forget this experience! Oh and if you were wondering--we literally went on all the rides available to us in both parks. You can totally do both in one day but only if you don't have kids and care so much about getting the most bang for your buck that you don't take many breaks from walking.

After doing all the things on all the rides in all the parks we decided it was relax time. We walked through city walk to have dinner at Bubba Gumps.

Super good. We did kinda rush though dinner though because we wanted to see Guardian's of the Galaxy 2 at the theater across the way. So glad we made it that movie was hysterical.

In the morning we had breakfast at the hotel, checked out at 11 then got 2 more California burritos from the same place we went the day before because they were THAT amazing before heading out on the road again. Until next time Florida.
